Speaking of brunch, and Camino, Mr. Bauer devoted his Sunday review to a roundup of his five favorite brunches around the Bay, with the caveat that he rarely ever goes out to brunch except if he's on vacation can you blame him, really, with his dining schedule? Recently he found some delight in early-day eats at Boulette's Larder, where he especially like the Sardinian poached eggs; Camino, where he loves the baked eggs and the "hard to resist" BLT; Cotogna, where he informs us Michael Tusk himself is often cooking on Saturday mornings; Nopa, where there's always a wait, but where Bauer loves the butter-basted eggs with bread salad; and SPQR, where he loves the pomodoro salad, and the poached farm eggs.
