Lers Ros Hayes Valley About to Open; Big Napa Wine Tasting in the Presidio This Friday; and More

Hayes Valley: It’s looking like Lers Ros’s new Hayes Valley location (307 Hayes Street, next to The Grove) might make it open this week. [Tablehopper, Earlier] Update 10/14: That appears to have been a false alarm, and things remain very papered over and appear stalled.
Presidio: The Golden Gate Club will play host this Friday, October 7, to an event called Around Napa Valley in 80 Sips (7 to 9 p.m.), from those folks at Bottlenotes. Grub Street readers can get $25 off the ticket price (normally $75) by using the code GRUBSTREETWINE. This is the first event of its kind featuring only Napa vintners, and will feature 120 wines for tasting from 60 wineries. [Grub Street]
Marina: Super Duper’s third cityside location (2201 Chestnut Street) looks like it will be ready for prime time as of October 15, or thereabouts. More on that soon. [Grub Street]
Polk Gulch: Thai Idea Vegetarian is now open at 710 Polk Street. [Tender]

Oakland: Well loved pho joint Pho Ao Sen is moving into slightly improved digs at 1139 East 12th Street. [Eater]
Menlo Park: Kaygetsu says its farewell after a final dinner this Friday, October 7. In its place will be a Japanese-Californian restaurant called Restaurant Mitsunobu. [Scoop]
