Up in Yountville last week, a fire broke out above the bread oven at Thomas Keller’s Bouchon Bakery, shutting the place down completely. As of yesterday morning, the retail portion of the bakery has reopened selling a limited number of pastries, sandwiches, and baked goods, but no bread, from 7 a.m. to noon, daily. There’s no estimate when the bakery and bread-making will fully resume. Therefore, you may still get your macaron fix before wine tasting, but not after. [Scoop, Earlier]
