Chefs Feed is a new iPhone app that brings together mapping capability with dish recommendations from some of the city’s top chefs. Ever wondered what Nopa’s Laurence Jossel or Saison’s Joshua Skenes most like to eat on their days off? Well, wonder no more. Traci Des Jardins loves the burger at Serptentine, while Melissa Perello prefers the burger from 4505 Meats at the Ferry Building. And where to find the best Peking duck in town according to Michael Tusk? That would be at Yank Sing.

The app is pretty handy and free to download, and it’s the brainchild of Jared and Steve Rivera of Rivera PR, and 7x7 food editor Sara Deseran. And we should point out that it’s kind of like Foodspotting, and Tablehopper’s Deep Dishing, only the recommendations come from respected chefs and come with nice descriptions.

Anyhow, the app currently covers S.F. and three other cities, but they’re adding six more by December.
