Charming Sacramento restaurateur and TV chef Biba Caggiano has just published a new cookbook, Spaghetti Sauces, which is her ninth to date. The chef-owner of Biba has put together a collection of 80 sauce recipes, from simple sugo di pomodoro to calamari and broccoli rabe. Caggiano will be doing two book-signing events at the restaurant on August 15 and 29, and 50% of the proceeds of the book sales at the events will go to a local women’s shelter. [Grub Street]
