A little amusement to brighten your day: San Francisco blogger Yo Shang put together this fun little redistricting map, titled “California, Animal Style,” in which he creates new “districts” throughout the state based on proximity to In-N-Out locations. See the full version below.

When trying the same thing, however, for the whole U.S., he gets a weird, enormous dividing line where the entire eastern seaboard is represented by a single outpost of the chain, in Alabama, which doesn’t actually appear on the company’s website. Anyway, enjoy.
