Grub Street broke the news last month about Izakaya Yuzuki, the new restaurant moving in to the arguably cursed, former Ebb & Flow space at 18th and Guerrero, and now the Scoop reaches out to owner Yuko Hayashi and gets word about the chef she’s hired: Ame alum Takashi Saito. Saito worked with Nojo’s Greg Dunmore at Ame, but Hayashi says she wants to do a very traditional izakaya, not like the more modern ones that Nojo is modeled after.
