Chez Panisse and Alice Waters are doing a full-on media blitz this week in celebration of the restaurant's 40th anniversary and as a means of further preaching the Edible Schoolyard gospel. Actor Jake Gyllenhaal joined the board of Alice's foundation last fall, and today he and Alice were interviewed on Today by Jenna Bush Hager, whose father's politics made Alice and pretty much all of Berkeley apoplectic for eight years and who has a totally hilarious way of pronouncing "Panisse." Watch the clip, straight ahead.
