Una Pizza Reopens (Now With Baby); Nirvana Shutter Appears Imminent; Reddington Brings Pizza to Yountville

SoMa: In case you missed the news in Preeti Mistry’s S.F. Diet today, Una Pizza Napoletana has reopened after an unannounced two-week closure. Anthony Mangieri and his wife Ilaria are now the proud parents of a baby girl. [Grub Street]
Castro: The Dancing Pigs, which we just reported yesterday would be replacing Nirvana (544 Castro), got a super-speedy temporary liquor license transfer, meaning Nirvana may be shuttering sooner rather than later. [Grub Street]
Chinatown: As part of SFoodie’s ongoing project to canvas all of Chinatown, called Rice Plate Journal, Jonathan Kauffman pays a visit to Broadway Café (670 Broadway). [SFoodie]
Hayes Valley: That aforementioned Two Sisters Bar and Books (579 Hayes Street) is now looking at a September opening, and they recently did a preview event. [7x7]

Yountville: Richard Reddington, chef-owner at REDD, has inked a deal to take the recently shuttered Cantinetto Piero space in the Hotel Luca. The place has a wood-fired oven, and he plans to do Napa-style pizza there. You should note that Reddington used to work pizza stations for Wolfgang Puck at Spago and Postrio. [Chron]
