Two Chefs and a Year Later, Café Des Amis Gets an Overhaul

The big news in the Inside Scoop print column today is that chef and Bacchus Group partner Mark Sullivan is stepping in to revamp the menu at Café Des Amis, the one-year-old brasserie in Cow Hollow. The place has already cycled through two chefs, Ed Carew and Gordon Drysdale, and now Drysdale is moving back to working on the company’s Pizza Antica restaurants. Sullivan, who oversees the kitchens at Spruce and Village Pub, has already made some menu tweaks, and plans a total menu revision by the fall. The reasons for the latest change-up aren’t being discussed, but we’re sure that one-and-a-half star review from Bauer still stings a bit. [Chron]
