Well, we thought that something called Donut Kitchen had snagged the former Lunch Geek space at 1400 Market Street (at Fell), but it turns out 25-year-old owner John Chow decided to go with the name Little Griddle instead, so as not to limit himself. As Thrillist reports, his family owns Ma’velous next door, and Happy Donuts, and in addition to featuring a donut burger (likely inspired by the one at Straw) on the extensive menu, they’ve got “two pages of bacon-rich breakfast-ables including Spot bagels, donuts, omelets, scrambles, “sammiches”, griddle cakes, French toast, and Ultimate Hashbrowns, which’re covered w/ three melted cheeses, chives, avocado, and Clover sour cream.” Soon to come is a Wagyu beef burger, and a weekend brunch with eggs benedict.
