This weekend marks the last Sunday’s a Drag brunch at Harry Denton’s Starlight Room for six weeks or so; the iconic nightclub/restaurant atop the Sir Francis Drake Hotel is undergoing a complete renovation, according to a release this a.m. They’ll be closed from Monday, July 18 until sometime in early September, at which point it will reopen with “a whole new look and feel.” The popular drag queen-hosted brunch, starring Donna Sachet, will move downstairs to the Franciscan Room, meanwhile, and you can make reservations for upcoming seatings (or this Sunday’s show in the Starlight Room) by calling 415.395.8595.
