Daniel Patterson’s Porky Sandwiches Cross the Bay

We got word today from Coi/Plum chef-owner Daniel Patterson that the porchetta sandwiches he and the Plum team have been making for the Porky cart in Oakland are making their debut in San Francisco today, as a featured menu item at Jackson Place Café (633 Battery), around the corner from Coi. Says Patterson, “we’ve gotten to know the owner, Giovanni, quite well over the years. He wanted something different to offer, we told him we could make sandwiches for him and drop them off every morning, and there you have it.” They’re $9, and available starting today. [Grub Street]
