Mod Mint Plaza restaurant Thermidor, which inspired a lot of Mad Men references when it opened last year with a nostalgic menu of 1960s favorites like Chicken Kiev and Sole Almondine, has decided to scale back their offerings and focus more on the bar — likely because they’ve been more popular as an after-work spot for a casual bite than as a dinner destination. As Tablehopper reports, the new menu launches tomorrow, June 30, and features some six-dollar snacks, a couple of inexpensive entrées like a burger, as well as the namesake Lobster Thermidor — now drastically reduced in price and likely shrunken in size, from $32 originally, to $13. Also, there’ll be a nightly three-course prix fixe for $35. See the full sample menu below.
