Two of the most buzzed about chefs in England right now, Claude Bosi and Sat Bains, are making one of their first trips ever to cook in the U.S. this month, and they’re coming straight to San Francisco. Bosi is the French-born chef of London’s Hibiscus, which has two Michelin stars; and Bains’s Restaurant Sat Bains with Rooms is the only Michelin starred restaurant in Nottinghamshire, serving ultra-seasonal food that Time says “exud[es] the terroir of the English East Midlands.” They’ll be collaborating on two meals, June 17 and 18, the first at Coi alongside chef Daniel Patterson, and the second at Plum with chef Charlie Parker. The dinner at Coi will be eight courses for $195, exclusive of beverages; the Plum dinner will be five courses, and $85 per person. Both events will benefit Patterson’s favorite charity, Larkin Street Youth Services. Make reservations by calling either restaurant. (Coi, 415.393.9000; Plum, 510.444.7586) [Grub Street]
