Todd Humphries’s aforementioned fast-casual project at Oxbow Public Market, Kitchen Door, is aiming for an opening in two weeks. As Eater reports, things are coming together at the new space, and test dinners begin next week. The owners describe the place thusly: “Entering Kitchen Door, guests will be embraced by the warmth and energy of the live wood-fired rotisserie and oven in Humphries’ kitchen. Famed for his forager’s eye, Humphries will stock the kitchen with local and sourced mushrooms, both fresh and dried - including his favorite candy caps, mousserons, agaricus, morels grilled over wood, and whole roasted porcini.” Also, there’ll be 90 communal seats, with every table being branded as a “chef’s table.” Also, there’ll be patio seating, and a takeout and Kitchen Door Market component.
