Given how much we drink during any normal week, we don’t have much use for pseudo-holidays centered on extra drinking. But hey, we’re sure some of you love your tequila and need to blow off some steam, so here’s a few quick ideas. Tres, formerly Tres Agaves, is going to be a total shitshow, but if you get in and out real quick they have a new drink menu and it might be halfway tolerable. A better bet would be Cantina, up past Union Square. You should be familiar by now but they’ve got a ton of great Latin cocktails, there’s no cover, and there’ll be $6 drink specials and a DJ all day. Also of note, Pisco is celebrating the 11th anniversary of next door Destino this week, and they’ll be doing tapas and $5 drinks all night.
Mijita and Public House are doing $5 margaritas. And there’s always, of course, Tommy’s Mexican.
