Patty U. Loves Plow, Wishes It Weren’t So Popular

“Doesn’t anyone work in San Francisco?” asks Patricia Unterman this week, by way of asking why her “beloved” new favorite breakfast/lunch spot Plow is always mobbed and running out of fried chicken sandwiches by the time she gets there. She’ll settle for the fried egg sandwich, “layered with sweet, smoky bacon and just the right proportion of melted cheddar, aioli and frisée.” Also, she loves the “fluffy” ricotta pancakes, and the tea-smoked chicken salad, not to mention the “divine” lemon pudding cake, which is a lemon soufflée with custard and whipped cream on top. But yes, she’d still like to try that fried chicken sandwich someday. Someday. [Examiner]
