Word comes to us today that longtime waterfront nightclub and music venue Kelly’s Mission Rock (817 Terry A. Fracois Street) is set to close. The so-called Dockside Café at Mission Rock already stopped serving a while back, however the venue has soldiered along, lately playing host to some 18+-type events. Drag queen party promoter Juanita More!, who hosted her annual post-Pride party there last year, informs us that she had relocate the event back to the Phoenix Hotel, the original location of the party, because Mission Rock won’t be open anymore by the time Pride rolls around, at the end of June.
