Remember Bambuddha Lounge? It seems like it closed so long ago over there at the Phoenix Hotel, and we've been eagerly awaiting its replacement ever since. Enter Chambers Eat + Drink, opening Tuesday from former owners of Wish, Sean and Isabel Manchester. They've hired former Mission Beach Café chef Trevor Ogden to do the food, and some more details on the menu are forthcoming. Today, though, we've got an exclusive look inside the new restaurant and lounge space, designed by Mister Important Design and intended to fit in better with the rock-and-roll vibe of the hotel. What with the glam details, all the shades drawn, and the shelves of records along the walls, it's like you just wandered into Mick Jagger's living room in 1981. See for yourself...
Chambers Eat + Drink - 601 Eddy Street - Officially opening Tuesday, May 17 at 5:30 p.m.
