Four chef shuffles in one day! Yowza. We’ll defer to the Scoop on this, who let loose the onslaught this afternoon, beginning with the news that Fog City Diner — which once upon a time (in the 80s) was quite the hot spot under the helm of Cindy Pawlcyn — is going to try to return to its former glory with the appointment of chef Daniel Sudar (Circa, Red Lantern in Redwood City). Sudar’s already made some changes to the menu, including some more Asian and Mediterranean plates, and they’ve got a Happy Hour menu now with $5 bites. [Scoop]

Also here in S.F., Out the Door chef de cuisine Grace Nguyen is departing the Charles Phan empire in order to take the exec position at Asian Box, an upcoming Palo Alto restaurant from Frank Klein and Chad Newton, slated for the fall (they’ll be opening American Box at the Jewish Museum this summer). [Scoop]

Then up at Brix in Napa we have the announcement of a new chef, Chris Jones, who’ll be taking over where Anne Gingrass-Paik left off. Jones previously worked at The Girl & The Fig and Estate in Sonoma.

Then finally we have a new chef at the 30-year-old MacArthur Park in Palo Alto: Danny Bradley, who previously worked at Ramblas, and up in Portland. [Scoop]
