Former Dry Creek Kitchen Chef Turned Pop-Up Restaurateur to Open New Place in Healdsburg
Mateo Granados, who we wrote about last summer vis a vis his Yucatecan-inspired pop-up series in Sonoma called Tendejón de la Calle, is now planning to open a new restaurant in Healdsburg, as the Scoop reports. The location is 214 Healdsburg Avenue, across from the new h2hotel, and he's planning on a July opening.
The menu will feature his signature tamales, filled with stuff like Black Sheep Farm suckling pig and Rosie chicken, as well as more Yucatecan specialties using local ingredients, like a sea salt tortilla stuffed with Salmon Creek Ranch homemade duck chorizo, as well as his popular cochinita pibil.
Also, there'll be a tequila bar and a street-food-based bar menu with items like salbutes, empanadas, and crispy tortilla cones stuffed with guacamole and crab.
