Ti Couz, Possibly In Trouble, Rebrands Itself as Cider Bar

We don’t want to ring the death knell just yet, but Eater brings word that longtime Mission creperie Ti Couz has been struggling a bit of late, having surrendered their liquor license last month and cut some staff last fall. Owner Sylvie Le Mer wrote an impassioned plea back in September to loyal customers about the “dire times” facing the restaurant, asking for their understanding as she phased out specials that required expensive and perishable ingredients. Also, in a nod to the menu’s Brittany focus, the bar now features several kinds of cider, as well as beer and wine, but no more hard alcohol. Le Mer promises, “We will stay dedicated to our mission, which is to [share] good food with good people.”
