Jon Gasparini and Greg Lindgren, co-owners of Rye, Rosewood, and 15 Romolo, are expanding their bar empire downtown, to a spot on Jessie Street between 2nd and 3rd. The concept, as Eater reports, is a European-style bar/café, with high-style design, a light menu of cheeses and such, and beverages fit for both day and night. "We want this to be a place where you can get a light Campari drink in the afternoon," says Gasparini, "and then come back later that night for a beautifully crafted cocktail." They've hired Brett Terpeluk, who designed Farina, to do the design. Look for this place to open by summer.
