Bun Mee (2015 Fillmore Street), the new Pacific Heights banh mi joint, opens for real on April 1 though rumor has it they're already slinging a few sandwiches this week. The Feast put together a nice slideshow of their food offerings yesterday, and via Twitter Bun Mee owner Denise Tran says they're "giddy" about their April Fool's Day opening. Note, in addition to standard banh mi, they'll be doing rice bowls; a "sloppy bun" with ground pork, jalapeno, and a fried egg; and chocolate sandwich cookies with coconut buttercream filling.
