Remember those plans that chef-owner Michael Wild had to start opening his 35-year-old Oakland restaurant Bay Wolf on Monday nights? Well, Tablehopper points us to the restaurant’s announcement that the deal starts tonight, and they’re calling it “Monday Bites” rather than the more cumbersome “Michael’s Monday Night Kitchen and Noodle Bar.” Tonight’s menu includes oyster po’boy sliders; duck sausage on an Acme roll with kimchi; and double duck noodles with cracklings and crispy duck thighs. Says Wild via the announcement, “We can’t wait to serve you the foods we love to cook, eat, and share when the tablecloths come off.” [Bay Wolf via Tablehopper/Twitter]
