The S.F. episode of Bizarre Foods aired last night, and as we'd gathered, Andrew Zimmern spent some time dumpster diving with some freegans and Food Not Bombs people. This turned out to be the #1 highlight of his San Francisco trip, as he discusses in this video summation. Also, he calls Spices in the Richmond "one of the best Chinese eating experiences I've had anywhere in America," and in the video below, he and Chris Cosentino turn Le Truc into Le Gut Truc, and serve up some pig intestine tacos, and a "meat cone" with "brainaise."
