Chef Todd Humphries and his former Martini House partner Richard Miyashiro have inked a deal for a 90-seat space at Oxbow Public Market in Napa, the Inside Scoop reports today. The concept is fast-casual, with counter service, an open kitchen, wood-fired rotisserie, and a pizza oven. And the name: Kitchen Door. The menu direction is “handmade multi-ethnic comfort food,” and expect to see a lot of mushrooms on Humphries’ menu, with the possibility of his Martini House mainstay cream of mushroom soup. They’re aiming to open in May.
