Beautifull! Comes to the Castro, a Cibo Per Strada Dinner, and More

Castro: Beautifull!, the mini-chain of fast-casual, healthy food that thus far has remained out in the Avenues, has staked a new claim as the café operator at the Castro Gold’s Gym (2301 Market). They look to be opening within a month. [Grub Street]

Nob Hill: The Nob Hill Tavern (1390 California Street), which we heard earlier would become something called Pour from the R Bar guys, is actually going to be called The Wreck Room. Opening TBA, maybe soon. [Eater, Earlier]

Oakland: Jon’s Street Eats, the popular food truck, will soon be rolling no more. Owner Jon Kosorek, who had previously discussed opening a brick-and-mortar spot, is taking an exec chef job at an unnamed restaurant in Napa. [Oakland North]

Also, Hannah Hoffman, whose Cibo Per Strada truck is getting off the ground, is hosting a “Punchdown Love” pop-up dinner at The Punchdown (2212 Broadway) on Saturday. It’s four courses with wine for $55. See details at Facebook and email for a reservation.

FiDi: Lunch spot Chez Carla (200 Pine Street) has shuttered, despite being popular, because the brothers who owned it weren’t getting along. [Eater]
