On February 5, just prior to the Super Bowl, the annual Taste of the NFL benefit goes down at the Fort Worth Convention Center, with proceeds going to Feeding America-affiliated food banks around the country. Each NFL team gets represented by a chef, and the Oakland Raiders are being repped this year by chef Josh Thomsen at The Meritage restaurant at the Claremont Hotel. (The 49ers this year will have Charles Phan as their man.) The Feast got Thomsen to do a dish demo and give up the recipe for what he'll be serving, his signature wine-braised short ribs.
