As we've mentioned, Hayes Valley upstart eatery Straw (203 Octavia at Page) opens to the public next Monday, January 24, featuring a carny theme that extends from the decor (think vintage candy machines, black-and-white photos of old sideshows and amusement parks) to the food. Thrillist published a draft menu last week, subject to some last minute changes, but here we give you just a bit of photographic evidence of the place, from an opening party they threw over the weekend.
Look for a fully revised and priced menu soon.
And yes, there will be cotton candy.
