If you’re a fan of chef David Kinch, and Manresa, and his avid food-blogging significant other Pim Techamuanvivit (Chez Pim), then you’ll want to know about this cooking class they’re doing next month at the restaurant’s Love Apple Farm, the Sunday before Valentine’s Day. The theme is “Day-Off Dinners,” showcasing a few things they like to make at home when Kinch has a night off. The class costs $125, and you’ll get to see how a Michelin-starred chef roasts a chicken, and learn how to make a perfect apple tart from Pim. Future classes will feature some other favorite, rustic recipes like braised fish with winter vegetables, and roast leg of lamb.
