Cosentino Introduces Chocolate-’Nduja Ice Cream on New Menu

Speaking of ice cream, Incanto chef Chris Cosentino reopened after a holiday hiatus last night with a brand new menu, and he tweeted photos of new dishes as they came out of the kitchen. Among them: chocolate-’nduja ice cream with almonds and a “pig cookie” (which we assume is sort of like this bacon cookie we had at Meadowood). For those still unfortunate enough not to be acquainted with ‘nduja, it’s spreadable salami, and the stuff they make at Cosentino’s Boccalone outfit is the bomb. That’s pronounced “en-doo-ya” and it’s weird like that because it’s the word “andouille” as rewritten by an Italian. Don’t ask. [@OffalChris via Feast]
