Where Not to Eat

Two Terrible Restaurants Partner In Timeshare Scheme

Sad.
Sad.

We try not to pay too much attention to the inept YouTube-based advertising efforts of certain restaurant concerns, because it’s kind of like watching your grandmother navigate Facebook and you have to have a little sympathy and cut them some slack, right? But today we came across a travel agency in Concord who’s partnered with two of the lesser-loved eateries in town, namely No. 9 Fishermen’s Grotto on Fisherman’s Wharf (about which we have to take Beth Spotswood’s word that it’s seen better days), and Morton’s Steakhouse (upon which Michael Bauer bestowed his worst review of the year). The gist of the deal: You get a free a $50 MasterCard to spend on steak/seafood at Morton’s/the Grotto. And you also get a free cruise? And there’s something about a 90-minute timeshare presentation that is, obviously, the price you pay for all this wonder. Limited time offer, folks! Act now!
