A new jewelry store with its own wine bar is coming to the former Earthtones space at 2323 Market Street. Grub Street learned of this from a sign in the window announcing the new store, D&R; D&H; Designs, as coming soon. It’s a brilliant idea really… get them drunk so that they’ll spend money. How do you think the Home Shopping Channel has stayed so successful? Perhaps more retail outlets in the Castro should consider this move, being the drinking neighborhood that it is. Oh, but there is the issue of liquor licenses…
