Maybe it stemmed from that atrocious Bauer review, but executive chef Ed Carew is parting ways with the nonetheless jamming Café Des Amis, as the Scoop reports. The move is allegedly mutual, and Carew wants to get back to his Mediterranean comfort zone. No replacement has been announced, and Justin Deering remains chef de cuisine, with Gordon Drysdale as chef-partner. [Scoop]
