’Tis the season of crab in these parts, and it ain’t over. Mondays in December and January they’re featuring whole grilled Dungeness crab at Camino in Oakland, as well as a crab bisque and a few other tasty variations to follow in the coming weeks. It’s three courses for $27, with an option to add an extra half crab for $11.

Over at Starbelly they’re doing a Dungeness crab feed tomorrow night, December 7, out on the heated patio. It runs from 5 to 9 p.m., and it’s family-style, for $56 per person, with all the drawn butter and remoulade you can wish for. There’ll also be boiled potatoes with house-made smoked sausages, Caesar salad, and a spiced apple cobbler for dessert. Space is limited.

And if you want to get even closer to the source of the crab, head down to Half Moon Bay Brewing Company where they’re doing a whole Dungeness crab for $18, which you can enjoy with a beer out on the heated patio overlooking the ocean.
