Another Nightclub Shooting Rounds Out the Year

Two men were shot and wounded late Saturday night when a fight outside Union Square nightclub Lot 46 turned gun-happy, as the Examiner reports. The two twentysomething gents were hospitalized with non-life-threatening injuries, and they’re refusing to cooperate with police. As you’ll recall, it’s been quite the year for nightclub violence in S.F., starting back in February with the shooting that closed Suede near Fisherman’s Wharf, and continuing in July with the shooting at Jelly’s, and then in August with the shooting outside Ruby Skye that killed that German tourist, which turned out to have nothing to do with Ruby Skye. And then that gang member got killed at Gravity (and now Gravity looks to be changing hands). What is with all the gun-toting to clubs, people? Drinking and guns do not mix.
