We recently took note, via a tipster, of a new neighborhood café moving in to the space formerly occupied by a nondescript little deli at Laguna and Fell Streets. Now Tablehopper clarifies the deal: It’s called Mazzat, and it’s a Lebanese eatery. Our early glimpse of a wall menu shows a few basic offerings like lattes, macchiatos, and some sort of specialty espresso drink called a Hammer Head. Also, there’s traditional Turkish coffee, Middle Eastern mezze, desserts, sandwiches, and limited seating from the looks of things. It’s now open, so let us know. [Grub Street, Tablehopper]
