Today’s Inside Scoop column includes a note about Kim Alter’s upcoming Sausalito venture, Plate Shop, which is said to be coming “to fruition… in coming months.” Today we hear from the horse’s mouth that they’ve gotten final approvals from the city, and they’re looking at an early December opening. Alter brings a bevy of notable kitchen experience to the table, having worked as Executive Sous Chef at Aqua, and also in the kitchens at Ubuntu and Manresa — not to mention a green thumb and a pretty major backyard garden.
