North Beach/FiDi: Cotogna (490 Pacific), the new casual li’l sis to Quince, will officially open on November 4. There will be a brief menu of pizzas, rotisserie meats, pastas, and salads, with occasional three-course prix-fixe options as well. Also, a selection of Northern Italian wines by the bottle at $40 even, across the board. We should have a sample menu for you soon. [Grub Street]
Napa: Tyler Florence’s next project, Rotisserie & Wine in downtown Napa, is a few weeks away. Tyler uploaded this quick video last week of the first birds on the spit as well as the almost finished interior with the note “30-day countdown.” Look for recently hired Jeremy Fox to exert some vegetable influence on the menu as well.
