The L.A.-based Nom Nom Truck has been skating through the challenges on The Great Food Truck Race, and San Francisco’s own Spencer on the Go has been on the verge of going home a couple of times now. But in Sunday’s episode, they manage to best the Austin Daily Press team by a few hundred dollars in New Orleans, and also beat them in a catfish challenge in which the sandwich truck kids had only a panini press on which to cook their catfish, and French-trained Laurent Katgely can fillet a fish with his eyes closed.

See a blow-by-blow recap from the Houston Press, and/or skip to the elimination moment below.

Next week, the teams head to Jonesboro, Tennessee, population 5,000, which is likely to present a whole new set of troubles, leading to the final episode in New York City which Grub Street NY revealed some spoilers about months ago.
