Mattin Noblia Gives Up Restaurant Biz, For Now

One time Top Chef hopeful Mattin Noblia is taking a break from the restaurant business in order to open a health and wellness center. As the Scoop reports, following on the report from Friday regarding the upcoming closure and sale of Noblia’s six-year-old restaurant Iluna Basque, Noblia says “he’s ready for a break” and plans to open something called World of Health next door to the restaurant, which will offer massage, chiropractic care, and nutrition counseling. And we suppose it’s worth mentioning here the historically lackluster reviews for the place and some recent Groupon desperation which resulted in more lackluster Yelpings. As of now, the deal to sell the restaurant to Frascati owners Jon and Rebecca Rader is still not final.
