North Beach: One-time Top Chef-er Mattin Noblia appears to have sold his six-year-old North Beach restaurant Iluna Basque (701 Union Street). As the Scoop reports, the husband-and-wife team behind Frascati, Jon and Rebecca Rader, have filed a liquor license at that address with the name Campanula Kitchen and Bar. Iluna Basque remains open for now. [Scoop]
SoMa: The 7th Street Café (525 7th Street) just opened between Brannan and Bryant, near the courthouse, and the early Yelp reviews recommend the fried chicken, sweet potato fries, and the pizza. [Grub Street]
Hayes Valley: A new café is in the plywood stages at 501 Fell Street at Laguna, in the former Apollo Market & Deli space. Quoth a neighborhood informant, "I hope it's something good. That deli sucked." [Grub Street]
NoPa/Western Addition: Something called the Fulton Street Brewpub is moving into the arguably cursed space at 1785 Fulton Street, from Ivan Hopkinson, formerly of the Beach Chalet. [Aggressive Panhandler via Eater]

Potrero: Skool starts brunch this weekend, and Eater has the menus. [Eater]
San Mateo: Sachin Chopra, who was most recently cooking at Sakoon in Mountain View, is going solo with All Spice (1602 El Camino Real), opening probably in November and serving "contemporary and eclectic Indian-inspired food." [Scoop]
Russian Hill: A restaurant by the name of Black Sheep (not to be confused with Black Sheep Pub) is moving into the Wine Bar space at 2032 Polk Street. [Eater]
