Sure, we have Nopalito and Doña Tomas, but our cohort down south today brings word that "seemingly everybody in L.A. these days looks interested in opening Mexican restaurants," and giving the cuisine regional and modern attention like Top Chef Master Rick Bayless. (We note this a day after Bauer bemoaned the lack of good Mexican here and SFoodie replied, "whatWhat?") [Grub Street L.A.]
