Scoring a coup as far as parking lot public art is concerned, upcoming Mission nightclub The Public Works (161 Erie Street) recently got a mural on their Mission-facing wall from famed British street artist Banksy. As Uptown Almanac shows us, the mural was further "finished" during an event on Sunday, adding a few elements in the collaborative tradition of street art. According to the team at Public Works Jeff Whitemore and Peter Glikshtern of Mighty the new club should be open by mid- to late September.
