There could be a new project in the works for Spruce’s executive chef Mark Sullivan, as he hands his position there over to chef de cuisine Ben Cohn. As the Scoop reports, Cohn came to Spruce after stints at Postrio, Masa’s, and Jardinière, and he takes the new title after handling the day-to-day operations at Spruce for quite a while. Sullivan remains chef-partner, and will still be overseeing The Village Pub in Woodside, as well as Bacchus Management Group’s other properties in Palo Alto, and Aspen, but this could mean he’ll be shifting focus to expanding the Bacchus empire further.
