What to Eat

What to Eat at Mission Chinese Food

Mission Chinese Food — which amounts to a full-time menu makeover to help former Mission Street Food home Lung Shan (2234 Mission) be a little more hipster- and white-people-friendly — launched this week. Co-chef Danny Bowien promises some spicier and better-than-average Chinese fare as interpreted by “two Asian American line cooks,” including a roast chicken with Hainan ginger and burnt wine sauce, with delivery times of 45 minutes or less. There’s also, of course, the eat-in option, with the lovely poster views of Chinese Communist Party officials astride glorious white steeds, but we’re sure that many food snobs in the Mission/Castro environs will be glad to have a new way to eat well without leaving the couch. Below, the full MSG-free menu, courtesy of Thrillist.

Update- Coming next week: salt and pepper crab. [Eater]
