Maybe it's just been too long since we've seen new restaurants open with budgets like these, but alongside Wayfare Tavern and Prospect, Café Des Amis still stands out via a few choice details. The new, 200-seat, Cow Hollow brasserie from the Spruce team opens for dinner at 5:00 p.m. tonight (see the menus here), and the trimmings in this place cost some serious duckets. See our full slideshow, including the 25-foot solid zinc bar, custom made in Paris, which probably cost more than the Aston Martin we saw parked outside.
