Market & 6th Food Corner Up for Grabs, Pal’s Starts Saturdays, and More

Sixth Street: Market & 6th Food Corner, the only Chinese-American-Filipino-Mexican-Italian restaurant on record, has relocated to 50 Mendell Street near Hunters Point and is clearly operating under a new name. This glorious space in an up-and-coming gourmet ghetto could probably be yours for a song, and you can even keep the sign that says “Sweet & Sour Pork, Hof Brau, Lumpia, Burrito, Pizza, Spaghetti.” [Grub Street]
Mission: Pal’s Takeaway, inside Tony’s Market at 24th and Hampshire, starts Saturday service this weekend. [SFoodie]
Embarcadero: Jelly’s, which we mentioned is getting evicted, can still keep its entertainment license… whatever that means. [SF Gate]

Marina: Viva Goa has opened at 2420 Lombard. [CHOWhound]
North Beach: Original Joe’s may not get the Joey & Eddie’s space after all. [Eater]
FiDi: Golden West may be opening tomorrow. [Eater]
